Farm Sanctuary
This 175-acre working farm is home to hundreds of cows, pigs, turkeys and goats rescued from slaughterhouses and stockyards and nursed back to health. Glenn H. Curtiss Museum
Glenn H. Curtiss Museum displays early motorcycles, engines and aircraft, many of which were developed for military use by Glenn H. Curtiss in his Hammondsport manufacturing plant. A skilled mechanic, speed enthusiast and aviation pioneer, Curtiss won the title “fastest man in the world” for a motorcycle speed record set in 1907; the next year he piloted the first documented public flight in the United States. After the U.S. Navy purchased its first airplane—a Curtiss design—in 1911, Curtiss became known as the Father of Naval Aviation. In addition to a tribute to the first female aviators, galleries feature Curtiss family art objects, early automobiles and turn-of-the-20th-century furnishings and memorabilia. Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum
This restored 1816 Federal-style homestead was built by Gideon Granger, U.S. postmaster general under Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The Carriage Museum has more than 44 horse-drawn vehicles made or used in the region 1810-1920. Call (585) 394-1472 for more information.

National Women's Hall of Fame
National Women's Hall of Fame, 76 Fall St., honors and celebrates the achievements of distinguished American women who have made contributions to the arts, athletics, business, government, philanthropy, humanities, science and education.
