Aquarium of Niagara
Aquarium of Niagara has more than 1,500 aquatic animals ranging from the Great Lakes to the coral reefs and is home to a large collection of Great Lakes fish. Visitors can see California sea lions, piranhas and more. Highlights include a colony of endangered Peruvian penguins, a shark exhibit and an outdoor harbor seal pool. IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls
“Niagara: Miracles, Myths & Magic,” an exciting view of the falls on a screen six stories tall. The 40-minute film tells the story of legends, explorers and daredevils, including a dramatic re-enactment of a steamship ride down the rapids and a true story of a boy who survived plunging over the falls. Journey Behind the Falls
Journey Behind the Falls contains elevators that descend to the base of the Horseshoe Falls. Three tunnels lead from the elevators and provide excellent vantage points for close-up views of the thundering falls and the Niagara River. The observation plaza is about 38 metres (125 ft.) below the gorge embankment and 8 metres (26 ft.) above the river's edge. Disposable raincoats are provided. Marineland
Marineland is known for its marine shows, which feature dolphins, walruses and sea lions. There also are a freshwater aquarium and wildlife displays with bears, elk and buffalo and a deer petting park. At the interactive whale habitat and Arctic Cove, visitors can touch and feed beluga whales. Friendship Cove features killer whales. Several rides are available, including Dragon Mountain, a large steel roller coaster, and Sky Screamer, a triple tower ride. A few children's rides also are available. Skylon Tower
Skylon Tower, overlooking the falls at 5200 Robinson St., rises 160 metres (525 ft.) above the ground and 236 metres (774 ft.) above the base of the falls, providing a magnificent view of the surrounding area. Three levels at the top include two dining rooms and an indoor/outdoor observation deck.
