Flushing Meadows Corona Park
The Park is located on the site of the 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs. It is the fourth largest park in New York City. Facilities in the park include: Pitch and putt golf, an indoor ice skating rink, Carousel, The Hall of Science, Queens Wildlife Center, Queens Museum, Theatre-in-the-Park, Playground for All Children and USTA Tennis Center. National Tennis Center
Located in Flushing Meadows, the USTA National Tennis Center for its own events, including the US Open, for no more than 60 days a year, ensuring the facility's use by the public for 10 months. In actuality, the USTA National Tennis Center is open to the public seven days a week, 11 months a year, closing only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

New York Hall of Science
This is one of America's best science museums. Visit the New York Hall of Science and interact with over 225 exhibits which provide fun, learning experiences for everyone. Open September - June Tuesday & Wednesday 9:30 am - 2 pm; Thursday & Friday 9:30 am - 5 pm; Saturday & Sunday noon - 5 pm. The Hall is closed Mondays except during special holidays. Queens College

Shea Stadium
Home to the New York Mets, the National League’s New York team. Shea opened in April 17, 1964 with a Bluegrass surface. Capacity for baseball is 55,601 fans. It is owned by the City of New York and cost $25.5 million to build. Located in Queens, near Flushing Meadow Park, site of the 1939 and 1964 World’s Fairs, just southeast of La Guardia Airport.
